2008-09 (Junior):
2007-08 (Sophomore): Harris almost doubled his scoring average from his rookie year, jumping from 8.6 to 14.5 Was named second-team All-BIG EAST Conference He posted 12 double-doubles in 35 appearances He was the BIG EAST Player of the Week once (Dec. 31) and made the honor roll twice (Feb. 4, Feb. 18) Harris was a double-digit scorer in 30-of-35 contests His 173 made free throws ranked seventh on SU's single-season ledger He opened his second collegiate campaign with 14 points and 15 rebounds against Siena, followed by 18 points and 14 boards versus Saint Joseph's Harris grabbed 15 rebounds and contributed 19 points versus Northeastern He passed out a careerhigh seven assists against Northeastern, St. John's and at DePaul He had 24 points and 11 rebounds versus Connecticut Harris had a personal-high of six steals versus Pittsburgh He had a stretch of 14 consecutive double-digit scoring performances Harris had a career-high 28 points at Villanova Harris had back-to-back 19-point, 10-rebound outings in the first two rounds of the NIT Against Robert Morris, he also had five assists and four steals.
2006-07 (Freshman): Harris had the highest rebounding average by a freshman in the BIG EAST Conference (7.1) The mark ranked sixth among SU freshmen in school history Harris led the team with seven double-doubles He played in all 35 games and scored in 32 of the outings He had at least two rebounds in every contest Harris became the first SU freshman since Carmelo Anthony in 2002-03 to post a double-double in his collegiate debut (10 points-11 rebounds) vs. St. Francis (N.Y.) His second double-double was a 16-point, 12-rebound effort two games later against Northeastern After the first six games of the campaign, Harris was averaging 12.0 points and 8.3 rebounds an outing He hit the first three-pointer of his career against Wichita State Harris made a season-high 10 free throws against Holy Cross, and became the first SU player to convert at least 10 free throws since Gerry McNamara made 13 against Cornell on Nov. 9, 2005 His 17 points vs. Charlotte represented a career best at the time Harris' 16 points against Connecticut were a season high for him in BIG EAST regularseason play In two regular-season games against the Huskies, Harris averaged 14.5 points and 10.5 rebounds His first conference double-double came in Storrs, when he accumulated 16 points and 11 rebounds in a loss Harris played a season-high 32 minutes at Providence and tallied a then careerbest six assists His top performance of the year came in the BIG EAST Tournament against Notre Dame when he had 24 points and 15 rebounds, each a career-high at the time, in 22 minutes of play Harris was listed as one of five impact freshmen in the College Basketball Preview issue of Sports Illustrated He was named Blue Ribbon Yearbook Preseason Newcomer of the Year Harris was the Preseason BIG EAST Rookie of the Year He made the conference all-rookie team following the campaign.
