SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A man who robbed several Salt Lake City businesses within days of being released from prison last summer is serving a new term.
Tavarrion Marquell Tate has been sentenced to one to 20 years in prison. He pleaded guilty to two counts each of second-degree robbery and third-degree theft after he robbed eight businesses.
Prosecutors say Tate grabbed money from cash drawers after making a purchase or asking for change.
