(KSL News) Sentencing for Jesus Partida, the man found guilty of sexually abusing 10 elderly women in an American Fork care facility, has been postponed.
Last month he was found guilty of 15 sex charges.
Four of the charges are first degree felonies, each carrying five years to life sentences.
Jesus Partida will now have to wait two more months to find out his sentence. But his defense attorney, Joseph Jardine, says he expects the conviction to be thrown out with their appeal.
Police never found physical evidence of the abuse and Partida was convicted based on his confession. According to Jardine, state law says there has to be more than just a confession to send a person to prison.
