Near Salina-- A 2-year-old died in a rollover accident near Salina. The accident happened Wednesday around 8 a.m. on Interstate 70 near milepost 94 on the Sevier/Emery county line.
The Utah Highway Patrol say the driver of the pickup was heading eastbound when he drove off the road, overcorrected and rolled onto its side.
Four people, two adults and two children, were inside the pickup. All were wearing seat belts, however, the 2-year-old was partially ejected and died at the scene.
The people were from Compton, California.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
