WEST JORDAN -- A 23-year-old man lost his arm in an industrial accident in West Jordan Thursday morning.
The man was working at Asphalt Materials at 7961 S. 1300 West when his arm got caught in a conveyor belt and was cut off above the elbow.
He was able to turn the machine off. A co-worker found him and called for help.
The man, whose name has not been released, was flown to Intermountain Medical Center.
