OGDEN -- A 19-year-old man was injured in an overnight shooting outside an Ogden home.
Ogden police said it happened late Tuesday night at a home on the 1000 block of Capitol Street. The man was shot twice in the leg, but the bullets entered and exited, leaving him with only minor injuries.
Two 16-year-old girls were out in front of the house and ran, telling officers that they were shot at as they fled.
Police don't have much of a description of the suspect, except a black Oldsmobile or Dodge with tinted windows that was seen circling the block shortly before the shooting.
"He says he doesn't know who shot him," Ogden Police Lt. Scott Sangberg told KSL NewsRadio on Wednesday.
Detectives suspect the shooting is gang-related, noting the home where the shooting occurred is a known gang hangout. Police said a feud between three gangs has been heating up in recent weeks.
