WEST VALLEY CITY -- Police investigating the murder of a mother in West Valley City still have not named any suspects. They spent the long weekend in the home looking for clues.

Investigators had been at the home of 33-year-old Kimberly Hain, near 6600 West and 3320 South, since Friday morning. The fact they spent four days there indicates detectives are working overtime to find answers about who is involved in Hain's murder.

Forensic experts have been searching the home and property for evidence. Monday they removed the victim's bed from the home. Detectives say that is where Hain was killed from blunt force trauma to the face and head, sometime Friday morning.

Hain was a mother of two children, ages 8 and 6. They discovered her body. Hain's husband arrived home about 8:30 Friday morning from a graveyard shift as a nurse. He called police. He has already been interviewed by police, who say he was cooperative.

Investigators have called the murder an isolated incident. They say there is no sign of a struggle. There was no forced entry into the home. Nothing was stolen, and there is no evidence of sexual assault.

The children, who were sleeping upstairs at the time of the murder, were unharmed. So far, the weapon has not been found.

Police have not released a time of death. They say they are looking at numerous theories, although they have not discussed possible motives with the media.

Hain is being remembered by her friends as a great person. They all struggle to understand why someone would try to hurt her.

On Saturday, her next door neighbor, Mark Larsen, said, "I just don't see anyone having a motive to do something like this to her."

Police remain with no suspects but have interviewed a very long list of people who knew Hain. That includes her family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Police say at this point, everyone remains a person of interest.
