Annie Whittaker knows the effect flowers have on someone, and through her business, Annie's Main Street Floral, she strives to make life more pleasant for others through her beautiful floral creations.
Annie's Main Street Floral is a full-service floral shop that provides wedding flowers, everyday arrangements and funeral flowers. The business specializes in sympathy work and can provide all types of funeral arrangements. Annie is happy to incorporate even the most intricate details in wedding arrangements or integrate mementos in any sympathy arrangement.
Annie's was introduced to the floral industry unintentionally. After graduating from college, she took a temporary job at a floral shop while searching for something in her chosen field of study. She enjoyed her work so much that she decided to make her career in the floral industry permanent. In 1999, she opened her own shop in Farmington. Two years later she purchased an existing shop in Layton. When business increased to the point that it was difficult to manage two stores, Annie sold the Farmington location and now concentrates only on Annie's Main Street Floral in Layton.
During her years in the floral business, Annie tells me one of the biggest changes she has seen is the increase in places to purchase flowers. She feels what draws customers to her shop is the personalized service she offers and the high-quality product she provides. She hopes to see Annie's Main Street Floral continue to grow and brighten someone's day with beautiful flower arrangements.
