SALT LAKE CITY -- Salt Lake County has seen its cases of bed bugs nearly double between 2007 and 2008.
According the Salt Lake Tribune, the problem is in everything from hotels to homes.
Salt Lake Valley Health officials say the bugs don't transfer disease but can make their victims very uncomfortable.
Experts say bed bugs were a big problem in the early and mid 1900's, but many were killed off.
The problem resurfaced in the 1990's, likely because of more international travel.
