HILL AIR FORCE BASE -- At a change of command ceremony Monday, Col. Linda R. Medler relinquished command of the 75th Air Base Wing to Col. Patrick C. Higby.

The 75th Air Base Wing commander is directly responsible for all base operating support for the Ogden Air Logistics Center, the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings, 84th Combat Sustainment Wing, 309th Maintenance Wing, 508th Aerospace Sustainment Wing and 48 associate units, totaling more than 22,000 active duty, civilian and contractor personnel.

Colonel Higby comes to the 75th Air Base Wing from the Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, where he was the 78th Mission Support Group commander.

Colonel Medler leaves Hill Air Force Base to become the chief of staff at the Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
