SALT LAKE CITY -- Recent market trends suggest companies may begin hiring by the end of the year. That's earlier than previous predictions.
In January, the forecast called for hiring to pick up in the middle to the end of 2010. But now some are hopeful things will start rolling by the end of 2009.
It's a ray of hope for the 13 million Americans out of work.
Renata Nedzymski, executive vice president of Professional Services for First Pro Inc., said, "Right now, employers are a lot more optimistic in saying that quarter three, quarter four of this year things will start to pick up."
Job recruiters say they are seeing an increase in companies looking for employees. However, many still are looking for temporary workers.
