(Image courtesy Open Air Cinema)SALT LAKE CITY -- A local inflatable movie screen company is hoping the changed economy will prompt people to turn their backyards into a place to get away.

For years, Stuart Farmer has put on film festivals around the county with his giant inflatable Open Air Cinema movie screens.

"The entire time, people have been wanting to bring this to their backyard. We had some big screens to offer, but they were too big for backyards," Farmer said.

Now, with people taking more "stay-cations," or relaxing at home to save money, Farmer has created smaller, inflatable movie screens. You can get one measuring anywhere from 10 feet to 18 feet across diagonally.

Farmer says his goal is to sell 1 million of them. Lucky for him, retail giant Target has taken notice and starting selling the Utah-made screens.
