GERING, Neb. (AP) -- Preliminary hearings have been set for next week and bonds have been reduced for two executives of a Scottsbluff auto dealership who face charges stemming from the disappearance of 86 vehicles.
Allen Patch and Rachel Fait's preliminary hearings are set for Thursday. Scotts Bluff County Judge James Worden on Friday reduced the bonds of the two from $650,000 to $50,000. Each would have to pay $5,000 to be released. Both remained in custody Friday afternoon.
Another executive, Rick Covello, is free on $400 cash bond pending his preliminary hearing May 12.
The three were arrested March 12 on suspicion of theft after the missing cars and trucks, worth more than $2.5 million, were found in Utah, Wyoming, Las Vegas and Scottsbluff.
