(KSL News) He was sleepy and somewhat dazed, but our young High Five nominee was awake enough to give Coco Warner a high five this morning.

Preston Johnson's mom says he's a great helper with a great attitude, all the while dealing with type 1 diabetes.

Genny Johnson/ Nominated Son: "Hey buddy. I wanted to publicly recognize you because you are such a helper. You never let anything get you down. You are such a good man. You open the door for Mom and other women, and you help out with your brothers, and I know you help out at school and the community just by being a good person."

Coco Warner: "So what do you think?"

Preston Johnson: "I don't know."

Coco Warner: "Are you surprised? Sleepy? What time do you normally wake up?"

Preston Johnson: "Seven."

Coco Warner: "Okay, we woke you up a little early."
