Not only are we the biggest high school in Utah, Riverton High School also has the greatest students. Riverton students can easily be summed up as people who genuinely care about others. We have a diverse student body that all share that outstanding quality.
For Example:
For four years straight, Riverton High School has set the bar for charitable giving. Working together, students have earned more than any other school in the state every year.
We believe it is also the highest amount raised in the nation. This year the students collected a whopping $83,000.00 in three weeks time for the Family Support center.
We also have a unique group called the "HOPE" squad. The HOPE squad consists of 100 students chosen by their peers to be a help and support to students in crisis.
The squad was formed after the tragic loss of 5 students in one year. Two of those deaths were suicide. HOPE squad tries to teach fellow students that suicide is not an option. This is a tremendous group run by our counseling center.
The city of Riverton has adopted this group, and holds an annual "Hope Walk."
There are always wonderful things happening here at Riverton High School. We are proud of our students, and the way they serve each other, and the community.
