SALT LAKE CITY -- Keith Lockhart conducted his last pops concert as music director of the Utah Symphony this weekend, and it was a memorable one.
He led the audience in an oldie but goody, Leslie Gore's "It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want To." Needless to say, a good time was had by all.
Lockhart ends his 11-year tenure at the helm of the orchestra at the end of this season in May. He says he will not be a stranger, though, with plans to return as a guest conductor
