ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- Warren Jeffs was back in court today in southern Utah's Washington County. He appeared by video camera from jail to briefly discuss his Arizona case.
It was over in about five minutes.
Jeffs is wanted in Arizona after his Utah criminal case ends. In Utah, he's accused of forcing a teenage girl to enter a spiritual marriage with an older man and submit to sex. The Arizona case is similar.
Jeffs is the leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which practices polygamy. He told a judge he's working to get lawyers to help him in Arizona.
