SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Some residents woke up to the sight of falling snow this morning as parts of Utah are hit with a winter storm.
The National Weather Service has issued a heavy snow warning for the mountains of central and southwest Utah, along with the Henry Mountains of southern Utah. It's expected to remain in effect until six a-m tomorrow morning.
The weather service says the area could get as much as 14 to 20 inches of snow by late tonight.
Meanwhile, a snow advisory has been issued for the Wasatch mountains south of I-80 including Alta, Solitude, Snowbird and Brighton. The N-W-S predicts the area will receive one to four inches of snow.
The advisory will remain in effect until ten a-m today.
