(KSL News) Walter White, a convicted sex offender charged with the death of a 16-year-old girl, could be accepting a plea deal soon.
According to the Deseret Morning News, lawyers for White say they are close to resolving the case.
Yesterday White pleaded not guilty to homicide charges.
Bountiful police claim White made a suicide pact with Samantha Mikesell. The two went to Mueller Park Canyon, drank alcohol and took anti-depressants. Both passed out. White woke up but Mikesell didn't.
White may take the plea agreement during a pre-trial conference scheduled for November 2nd.
