(KSL News) -- Firefighters rescued a construction worker who got trapped in a trench.
A side of the trench caved in on the man this afternoon as he was working near 10400 S. State St. Witnesses tried digging the man out until firefighters arrived.
Rick Franco, Witness: "If you're buried five feet up to your neck and then five feet of dirt above you, I was afraid more was gonna come in on him."
The man wasn't seriously hurt.
