Jail documents are shedding a little more light on a woman accused of killing a man in his Salt Lake City apartment Tuesday morning.

A probable cause statement says several witnesses identified Joy Lynn Adams as being in the apartment at 320 E. 100 South at the time of the crime.

Police say officers from the Metro Gang Task Force, while following up on some information, located Adams and arrested her last night. The statement says Adams admitted to killing 69-year-old Adolph Neal during a dispute.

Police are releasing few details about the arrest and are only saying Adams was an acquaintance of the victim.

Police named Adams as a suspect after they found Neal's body while responding to a report of a disturbance yesterday morning.

No word yet on a motive for the stabbing.
