(KSL News) Provo police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found this morning.
Police say a passer-by spotted the body on a dike on the east side of Utah Lake. He called out to her, but she didn't respond. That's when he called 911.
Police have not said if this was a homicide. They are waiting for autopsy results.
The woman has been identified as 40-year-old Melanie Memmott of Provo.
