This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

How many people do you know who are so excited about their jobs that they can't wait to go to work every day? Although I have met many people who love what they do, I don't often run across people who are as passionate about their work as Wynn Hubrich.

Wynn and his son, Hans, run Facility Development Group, a small, privately-owned consulting firm in Farmington, created to help clients undertaking construction or facility development projects. Wynn says many companies find themselves outgrowing their current facility but they don't always know where to go or who to turn to for help in constructing a new one. That's where he and Hans come in.

The Hubrichs can provide start to finish project management. They begin by learning about a client's company to discover space needs and growth patterns. Once they know what size of facility the client is searching for, Wynn and Hans work with a local realtor to find an existing facility or land the client could build on. They oversee all aspects of construction such as hiring an architect, bidding out the project and managing it, including handling any issues that may arise. Once the facility is complete, the Hubrichs will also help the client resolve any furniture needs, coordinate interior design, oversee IT and phone systems and, finally, move into their new building.

Wynn says Facility Development Group has been well received thus far, and clients appreciate the comprehensive services the company provides. The business became a way for Wynn to stave off boredom after he retired from a long career with the U.S. Postal Service. He had worked in both the facility and real estate development departments and learned skills that help him in his current job.

Facility Development Group can add value to the companies it serves because of its expertise and relationships with construction-related industries It can save clients time and money by overseeing all aspects of a project and by offering excellent customer service. Those are all terrific reasons for Wynn to be excited to go to work!

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
