(KSL News) It looks like the University of Utah marching band has raised enough money to go to the Presidential Inauguration.
This morning they were still short of the needed funds, but USANA Health Science stepped up and committed to pay the remainder of what the band needs.
"We will pay whatever it takes to hit their goal of $154,000 needed to send the University of Utah marching band to Washington for the president's inauguration," said Dan Macuga, USANA Health Science's Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.
Cold Stone Creamery held a fundraiser for the band last night, donating a night's proceeds to the band. Applebee's restaurant and others have also done their part to contribute.
