(KSL News) -- Three of the most popular trucks on the road are now part of a federal safety investigation.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into complaints of engine fires in 2000 Ford F-150 pickup trucks, Ford Expeditions, and Lincoln Navigators.
At least 36 fires have been reported. In each case, the truck was parked and the engine was off.
