Frankfurt (dpa) - The fragrances on display at a Frankfurt airport duty free shop proved simply irresistible for two members of the Ukrainian women's national wrestling team.
Store detectives caught the pair trying to steal 2,000 euros (2,500 dollars) worth of cosmetics during a stopover in the German city, police said Wednesday.
The women, aged 20 and 23, were on their way to Guangzhou for the world wrestling championships when the incident occured on Tuesday evening.
Police detained the couple for questioning, but relased them after several hours, by which time they had missed their connecting flight to China.
Police said the unnamed women would be charged with shoplifting.
