(KSL News) -- Students at a school in Spanish Fork want a suspended coach to be put back on the job.
The American Leadership Academy placed Darrell Pruitt on unpaid leave after he pleaded no contest to driving under the influence. Pruitt also has previous felony convictions for theft and forgery.
The students circulating the petition say Pruitt should be forgiven for his past acts and allowed to move on.
The school's board of trustess will discuss the matter at a meeting next month.
