THE PARKING LOT — Police officers get all kinds of strange calls.
Here are some examples:
- An escaped hippo
- Raccoon invasion
- Requests for someone to sing "Happy Birthday"
- Help with a math equation
- Inquiry about where to purchase illegal drugs
- Complaints about portion size at McDonald's
I imagine it takes a lot to surprise a cop, since they've seen and dealt with so much ridiculousness. But the unusual case in this video seemed to do the trick.
The dispatch center received a call about a suspicious man riding a bull in a local parking lot. Turns out, the call was accurate. The steer's name was Gus, and the cowboy in question was en route to a rodeo.
Not only did the police officer allow the cowboy to continue his journey to the rodeo, but he actually climbed aboard Gus for a brief ride of his own. In the end, I'm sure this unexpected encounter was the highlight of the officer's week.
