ST. GEORGE — A 32-year-old man was arrested in a road rage incident over the weekend for allegedly attacking two people who he said blew an air horn at him.

Police say two people, ages 17 and 18, "blew an air horn" at the man about 9:40 p.m. Saturday and then drove away. A short time later, the man spotted the two at a gas station at 2078 E. Riverside Drive in St. George and pulled into the lot to confront them.

"(He) then immediately rushed at the victims, body slamming both of them, causing bleeding and cuts to both victims' bodies. Witnesses advised that while (he) was assaulting the victims, the victims were saying, 'I'm 17' repeatedly," according to a police booking affidavit.

When questioned by officers, the man claimed one of the victims "took a step … toward him, which he perceived to be a threat, and body slammed one of the victims," the affidavit states.

He then told police "something to the effect of he 'saw red' and believed that he was in a fight, so he body slammed the second victim," according to the affidavit.

Aaron Kenneth Kuttler was booked into jail for investigation of child abuse and two counts of assault. All three potential charges include a suggested road rage penalty enhancement.
