PHOENIX — Christian Yelich says he will be ready for the start of the season. The Milwaukee Brewers' veteran outfielder arrived in camp Saturday at full strength with his sights set on an even better 2025 campaign after back surgery that brought a premature end to a resurgent 2024 season. The Brewers open their season March 27 at Yankee Stadium. The 33-year-old Yelich batted .315 with a .406 on-base percentage, .504 slugging percentage, 11 homers, 42 RBIs and 21 steals in 73 games last year before undergoing season-ending back surgery. His final game of the 2024 season came on July 23.
