MONTPELLIER, France — The coaches of Montpellier and Lens have both been sent off for blocking the referee's view of the VAR monitor in Lens' 2-0 win in Ligue 1. Jean-Louis Gasset and Will Still were adjudged to have impeded the referee as he decided to disallow a Lens goal. The bizarre decision came in a match with the league's fastest goal of the season from M'Bala Nzola and a second half clincher from debutant Jeremy Agbonifo. The result lifts Lens above Lyon and Lille into fifth place. Montpellier remains second from bottom.
