MUNCIE, Ind. — Led by Javaughn Hannah's 17 points, the Western Michigan Broncos defeated the Ball State Cardinals 74-71. Markhi Strickland added 17 points and Donovan Williams 16 for Western Michigan (6-14, 3-5 Mid-American Conference). Payton Sparks finished with 19 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks for Ball State (9-11, 3-5) and Jermahri Hill also scored 19.
