Snow College's unique TechConnect program partners with technical colleges to again, seamlessly transfer technical education credits into an associate degree, shortening the time spent to earn a degree by up to a year! Karla Urie, a 2014 Snow College graduate, received her cosmetology certificate and Associate of Applied Science and has since continued on to Utah State and recently finished her law degree at University of Idaho.

A step toward entrepreneurship
Utah is a hub for entrepreneurial aspirations and Snow College offers a robust answer: The GRIT Center at Snow College opened November of 2019. Here, through experiential learning, students develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Students have the opportunity to participate in diverse entrepreneurial programming and win funding to put their ideas into action through GRIT Center pitch competitions. These programs emphasize practical skills, enabling students to launch successful businesses and advance in their careers with confidence.
Kennedy Jenkins is a profound example of the success of GRIT. She competed in several GRIT Center competitions and won. She ran her own successful photography business and ran a tennis clinic for kids in Logan.
After graduating in 2024, Jenkins attended at SUU, where she earned a coveted position working in the Larry H. And Gail Miller Center for Entrepreneurship. She's helped organize the State Bank Business Challenge and One Utah Summit.

With hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and career placement services, students graduate ready to make an immediate impact. Many alumni have found success in various industries, from health care to agriculture, to arts and to engineering. That's exactly what Nico Ziadi is doing. Ziadi, a current Snow College student who is originally from Argentina, won the prestigious Lorenzo Snow award last year. The award is the highest nominated honor given to a student who has significantly contributed to enriching campus life and positively impacting the college and surrounding community, while demonstrating exceptional personal character and overcoming challenges while pursuing their education.
He has already started a business called Global Essentials, to help international students cope with homesickness by providing food from their home countries. He is president of the Business Club and has won numerous Bootstrap Awards through the Grit Center.
