LAKE CHARLES, La. — Led by Javohn Garcia's 26 points, the McNeese Cowboys defeated the Southeastern Louisiana Lions 79-51. Christian Shumate added 12 points and 10 rebounds for McNeese (8-5, 2-0 Southland Conference). Sam Hines Jr. led Southeastern Louisiana (6-7, 0-2) with 11 points.
