SOUTH SALT LAKE — A 52-year-old man died after getting struck by a car in South Salt Lake Thursday night.
The crash occurred at 3116 S. State about 8:45 p.m. After getting hit, the man was taken to the hospital but died after arriving, South Salt Lake police said. Additional details on the crash were not available.
Police said the 43-year-old woman driving the car that hit him is cooperating with the investigation. No impairment is suspected, police said.
Traffic impacts were expected late into Thursday night in the area.
