ROY — Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman in Roy Thursday afternoon.

Just after 3:30 p.m., a southbound car on Midland Drive turned left onto 3100 West in front of a northbound vehicle, and the two cars collided, Roy police said.

A man driving the northbound vehicle was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. A female passenger in the northbound car was transported in critical condition but later died at the hospital. Her identity has yet to be released.

The southbound driver received minor injuries.

Roy police said no impairment is suspected. The crash is under investigation.
