Sam Darnold and the Minnesota Vikings look to win their fourth straight game and at least keep pace with Detroit in the NFC North when they visit the struggling Chicago Bears. The second-place Vikings trail the Lions by a game in the NFC North. Chicago has dropped four in a row after losing to Green Bay last week on a blocked field goal as time expired. Darnold already has career highs in wins and touchdown passes and is on pace for career bests in passer rating, yards per game and completion percentage. Caleb Williams looked more comfortable against Green Bay in the first game with Thomas Brown as offensive coordinator after Shane Waldron was fired. Williams threw for 231 yards and ran for a career-high 70.
