Jason Caron has delivered one of the most remarkable performances of the year. Caron is a club pro on Long Island. He tied for fourth in the Senior PGA Championship in May, the start of an amazing chain of events that led to him playing some PGA Tour Champions events. Then he played a few more. Now the 52-year-old Caron is in the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship as one of the top 36 players. That gives him a card for the senior circuit next year. He did this while working at The Mill River Club as the head pro.
