OAKLAND, Calif. — Many longtime Oakland Athletics employees are still working in their 70s, 80s and even 90s because they love being part of the games and cherish the community aspect of coming to work at a place with such history. But some are planning to retire, having given their hearts and souls to this place and uncertain of what's next as the A's relocate to Sacramento for the next three years ahead of a planned move to Las Vegas in 2028.
