Hart beats Baker to Paralympic dressage gold as USA wins three equestrian medals

PARIS — Rebecca Hart won the dressage gold medal aboard Floratina at the Paris Paralympics and the United States won two other equestrian medals. Hart triumphed in the Grade III category while Fiona Howard clinched gold in Grade II and Roxanne Trunnell took silver in Grade I for the most severely impaired riders. On the track, Alexandr Kostin set a new Paralympic record in the T12 1,500 meters and Yeltsin Jacques of Brazil broke the world and Paralympic records in the T11 1,500. Cuba's Robiel Yankiel Sol Cervantes retained his Paralympic title in long jump with a 7.41-meter leap.
