SAN FRANCISCO — Matt Chapman hit his 20th home run, Kyle Harrison pitched six strong innings and the San Francisco Giants beat the Chicago White Sox 5-3 on Monday night. Harrison allowed one run and five hits, striking out five and walking two as the Giants limited their opponent to three runs or fewer for the fifth straight game. San Francisco moved within 3 1/2 games of the idle Atlanta Braves for the final NL wild-card spot. The White Sox lost for the 29th time in their last 32 games.
