BEREA, Ohio — Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was taken off the practice field on a cart with an ankle injury suffered while going against Cleveland's first-team defense in a joint practice. Addison, who had 70 catches and 10 touchdowns as a rookie last season, was treated on the field before being driven off for further treatment and evaluation. Addison was a 2023 first-round pick from Southern California and is Minnesota's No. 2 receiver. Coach Kevin O'Connell says he doesn't think Addison's injury is serious. That's welcome news to Vikings fans after rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy had season-ending knee surgery earlier Wednesday.
