TOOELE — A man died Friday after he was hit by a garbage truck in Tooele, police said.
The crash happened in the area of 974 N. Main near a convenience store. Investigators were still trying to figure out the cause, said Tooele Police Cpl. Colbey Bentley.
The driver remained on scene and was cooperating with the investigation, Bently said. He said the victim appears to be in his late 50s and was riding his bike when he was hit.
No additional information was immediately available.
