TROON, Scotland — Spain is on a roll and Jon Rahm hopes to be part of it. He says he was inspired by Carlos Alcaraz winning Wimbledon and Spain beating England in the European Championship final. Rahm has only the British Open left to salvage a disappointing year in the majors. He hasn't won anywhere since the 2023 Masters. He barely made the cut this year at Augusta, missed the cut in the PGA Championship and then had to sit out the U.S. Open with a foot infection. Rahm says he is swinging freer and getting back toward his high level of play.
