CHICAGO — Dallas Wings forward Maddy Siegrist as a broken finger on her non-shooting hand in the latest setback for the injury-plagued team. The Wings made the playoffs last year but are near the bottom of the WNBA standings in 2024. Siegrist sustained the injury on her left hand in the first quarter of Dallas' eighth consecutive loss, a 90-78 defeat at Minnesota. She stayed in the game and tied for the team lead with 17 points. Siegrist's minutes and scoring are up significantly over her rookie season. An injury to All-Star forward Satou Sabally is part of the reason for Siegrist's increased playing time.
