(KSL News) A 10-month-old baby is recovering from nearly drowning in Herriman.
The Deseret News reports it happened about 9:30 yesterday morning at a home near 14300 South and 5600 West.
Paramedics say the boy's mother left him alone in the bathtub for 30 seconds while she went to a closet. When she returned, he was submerged.
But fire crews say when they arrived the baby was coughing up water, which was a good sign. He is recovering at a hospital.
