EAGAN, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings made cornerback Khyree Jackson their fourth-round pick in the NFL draft. Jackson had quite the journey to the NFL. He spent two full seasons out of football after dropping out of his first junior college. The 24-year-old Maryland native went to two more junior colleges before playing at Alabama and then transferring to Oregon for his final year. The 6-foot-4, 194-pound player ought to fit well in the scheme directed by defensive coordinator Brian Flores. The position on the Vikings is wide open. The Vikings also drafted Oklahoma tackle Walter Rouse and Alabama kicker Will Reichard in the sixth round.
