ROME — Fencer Arianna Errigo and high jumper Gianmarco Tamberi have been named as Italy's flagbearers for the Paris Olympics opening ceremony. Errigo will be competing in her fourth Olympics and has won medals in each color. Tamberi is the reigning Olympic, world and European champion in the high jump. Italy's 40 medals at the Tokyo Games three years ago were its most ever at an Olympics. The opening ceremony in Paris is scheduled for July 26.
