WASHINGTON — Hampus Lindholm scored a goal at one end and prevented one at the other to help the Boston Bruins beat the Washington Capitals 3-2 in a shootout. Kevin Shattenkirk scored the shootout winner after Jeremy Swayman made 18 saves in regulation and overtime. Rookie John Beecher also scored for the Bruins, who moved back into first place in the Atlantic Division. The Capitals by getting a point moved into third in the Metropolitan Division because they've played two fewer games than Philadelphia.
