Penn State's Carter Starocci, Aaron Brooks join exclusive club of 4-time NCAA wrestling champs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Carter Starocci and Aaron Brooks of Penn State have joined an exclusive club of four-time NCAA wrestling champions. Only five others had won four titles, including their coach, Cael Sanderson. Starocci beat Ohio State's Rocco Welsh while Brooks beat longtime rival Trent Hidlay of North Carolina State on Saturday night. The Nittany Lions also got championships from Levi Haines at 157 pounds and Greg Kerkvliet at 285 on their way to a third consecutive team title. Other champions were Richard Figueroa at 125 pounds, Vito Arujau at 133, Jesse Mendez at 141, Caleb Henson at 149, David Carr at 165 and Parker Keckeisen at 184.
